The beaches on the peninsula Peljesac

Peninsula is famous for its amazing beaches and small coves. Most of the beaches on the Peljesac are gravel, although most have very shallow and sandy seabed, which are perfect for boating or games in the shallows.

Beach Prapratno

This beautiful beach is located just three kilometers west of Ston and offers great opportunities for swimming. Part of the beach in the bay Prapratno is sandy, while the other part is stony, and the whole beach is filled with pine trees and ancient olive trees. It is a protected beach on the edge of a deep bay and the crystal clear water is very calm and warm. Ferryboat connects Prapratno with Mljet island, and along the beach there is a camp.

Beach Duba Peljesac

Fantastic clean pebble beach in Duba is situated on the north coast of the peninsula, 12 kilometers from Trpanj.

Beach Mokalo

In the calm bay is settled one of the best small beaches on the Adriatic. It is coveted with white Dalmatian stone, and is surrounded by century-old pine and tamarind. On the beach you can enjoy the unique sunset, one of the best in the Mediterranean.

Beach Sreser

Sreser beach is situated along the north side of the central part of the Peljesac peninsula. There are, bathed in sun all day, several sandy and pebble beaches, as well as paved areas adapted for swimming in front of private houses. If you prefer rocks, you can go to the nearby bay. A sandy seabed is deep between 1 and 1.5 meters, and is perfect for volleyball and kid's games.

Trstenik Beach

This beach is located in a secluded bay, which consists of smooth stones, but also offers great opportunities for swimming. Underwater life is also great, and on the beach there is a diving center. The beach is located at the foot of the famous vineyards Grgich, and along the beach there are many bars and restaurants, where you can taste famous wines from Peljesac.

Trstenica Beach

This magnificent blend of gravel and sand is part of one of the best beaches in Croatia. Located just outside Orebic, this long beach is surrounded by pine trees, and is equipped with beach showers and stands for fast food. The beach can be easily reached on foot from the ferry port in Orebic, so the beach is ideal for day trips to Korcula island. Shallow entry into the sea makes Trstenica brilliant and safe beach for children !

Viganj

On the beach in Viganj the atmosphere is far more violent and windier, which is why this beach attracts a large number of surfers from all over the world. In the bay of Viganj is a small village (about 300 inhabitants), with its rich maritime heritage. Houses built by rich Viganj captains is definitely worth a look. It is even more attractive stunning view that stretches across the bay to the town of Korcula.

Zuljana is beautiful and attractive bay on the southern coast of the peninsula of Peljesac. In the bay there is a large pebble beach. This beach is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. One of them is the famous beach Vucine. Nearby are numerous small sandy and pebbly beaches such as Kremena, Grdni Do, all surrounded by pine trees and absolutely crystal clear sea. The beaches are ideal for children, because the bay is shallow and sandy.
